Benefits of Saunf

Saunf are known to relieve digestion. It not uncommon to be served with these aromatic seeds at the end of a masala(Spicy) Pakistani meal.

This excellent mouth refresher can simply be chewed to get the most of its benefits, its freshening taste can also be used to make fennel tea, which is soothing for sore throats and also relieves any discomfort from bloating or indigestion


Mint and Saunf Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of mint leaves
  • ½ cup saunf
  • 3-4 green cardamom
  • Sugar to taste
  • 2 glass

Procedure:

  1. Blend all of the above ingredients in the blender
  2. Using drainer or soft cotton piece drain out all the blended liquid so that no particles are in the liquid
  3. Mix 1 glass of more water in it and sugar
